Manufacturers of high quality doors and hardware with a fantastic reputation for customer service established over many years of successful trading. We were contacted by Paul Phillips in August 2007 to carry out a free site survey to quote to replace a 10/12 year old R22 A/C system that was giving them problems and was getting increasingly expensive to repair and maintain.
The cheapest option would have been to install single and multi split systems but this would have meant that there would have been a lot of unattractive external condensers on the outside of the building. Firths were keen to maintain the impressive frontage to their building and we suggested a Mitsubishi VRF system which is operated by one big condenser at the rear of the building Because of the ever increasing energy costs Firths wanted a system that was as energy efficient as possible and reduced their carbon footprint. We proposed a Mitsubishi VRF, Heating and Cooling, Heat recovery system with 22 internal ceiling cassettes in the offices.
This is a prestigious installation of the very latest technology in air conditioning. As members of the Mitsubishi Partner Programme and Accredited Installers we called on their technical services department to Commission and Inspect the installation, which passed with flying colours.
The competition for this contract was fierce. Our "speed of action", "attention to detail" and "constant communication", supplying the information that Firths required with regard to running costs and long term efficiency and savings ensured that we won the order.

Like many schools built in the 60's and 70's Airedale has huge area's of single glazed windows and was never designed to have large numbers of computers in what are now ICT Suites not just classrooms. 30 PC's and 30 pupils generates about 7 kw's of heat, the windows are often sealed for security reasons the result is that the ICT Suite gets so hot the pupils lose concentration and under achieve. Andrew Swallow the Property manager invited us to quote to service existing systems and provide additional units for more classrooms. We have now successfully completed 11 installations and won the contract to service and maintain all the schools A/C units.
Like many NHS general practices Ashworth Street have to work within very strict budget guidelines. Because of this we devised a roll out programme starting by installing A/C in the priority areas. Pauline Mayor the practice manager first contacted us in july 2005. We carried out a free site survey and won the contract to install A/C in 2 surgeries and the admin office which was very crowded with several computers and servers creating excess heat. The building has since been extended and we have now completed the programme installing a total of 15 A/C systems. In Feb 2008 Pauline referred us to three other GP's in Rochdale, we have now started the process with them fitting 3 systems in March.
Birchwood is a relatively modern building which really should have had A/C installed when it was built, often the A/C is pulled in order to keep in budget.
In one programme we installed A/C in 31 sugary, treatment rooms and offices controlled by 6 x 14kw multi split external condensers. Christine Earwalker the practice manager is very happy with the Misubishi Systems supplied and the quality of our installation, service and back up.
